It gets annoying and Frustrating when you wish to wear something but You’re not being able to just because the so called fashion rule doesn’t go with it. For a while now, I’ve been trying to make my own kind of fashion taste according to mood and feelings considering less of outer influence. I like the pictures you’ve illustrates with, they are helpful.

Hello KingAndrea.  Thanks for checking out my website.  I agree, it’s pretty frustrating when you want to wear something but society says you shouldn’t.  I avoided wearing stripes for years because fat people should not wear stripes.  So with those restrictions gone, it fun to try all the styles I always avoided.  And you hit the nail on the head:  dress according to your mood and feelings, and forget about the outside influences.  It’s how you come closer to being your true self.  And thanks for the note about the pictures…I work pretty hard on those and it’s nice when someone notices them.  Have a great day!  RhondaLeigh

You have just literally slashed all the rules of fashion in your post here and I think that i have picked a couple of them. One of which is the absurd fact that one should not let the bra show. Yes I have heard that before but because it is widely accepted by the society, what can one do? Well, now that I know better, I am also going to get my high heels on and get myself all grooving. I have to share this post as well to as many people as I sure can. This is just a beauty. Thanks for this.

Hi again Henderson.  Thanks for reading and commenting.  And I say, whatever floats your boat!  With a name like Henderson, I assume you are a dude?  But I could be wrong….So knock yourself out!  Let that bra show, and start rocking those high heels!  And break a few more rules while you’re at it.  Thanks for making me laugh!  RhondaLeigh

The quote, “You should take fashion seriously, because the way you’re dressed says a lot about you,” I really have to agree with.  No matter what you are wearing or how you are mixing it up, if you wear slutty clothes, you will look like one; if you are wearing sweats or (even worse) PJs, you will look like a slob.  Yes, be yourself and don’t be shoved into a box but if something is clashing or totally inappropriate, one should beware of it.  This I learned from Clinton and Stacey!

Hello again Feochadan!  Yes, I agree with that statement too.  That’s why I tempered it with this phrase:  “Consider appropriateness when the situation demands it.”  In other words, you should not wear PJs to a job interview, and if you like to wear slutty clothes, try to tone it down for work or visits to your grandmother.  Context is a great determiner, and perhaps I should write another post just on that subject.  Thanks for reading and commenting, and thanks for leading me to another subject to discuss on my blog!  RhondaLeigh

Its thoughtful of you to share this information with the general populace, dressing has grown from one point to another, this makes it known that changes occur everyday. One funny thing about fashion is that these rules are broken to form a new blazing trend, so breaking the rules of fashion is not a bad idea.

Hello and thanks for reading and commenting.  I like your point that breaking the rules creates a new fashion trend.  That is so true!  One thing about being a plus size woman, trends tend to be aimed at the skinny woman, and plus size woman are advised against doing anything trendy.  So there’s another rule that needs broken!  Thanks again for your thoughts.  RhondaLeigh

This post is what can be defined as a real smash hit looking at the way you have written it. I like the fact that you could give us some fashion belief that should be thrown in the gutter. I tell my friends that your fashion defines you and they should wear it how they want it. I am happy that there is a person that agrees with me on this. I am going to share this with them. I am very sure that they will find this very captivating.

Hello John, thank you for your comments.  I’m so happy you like my post.  It’s nice for me too, to find people that agree with these concepts.  The bottom line is that fashion is subjective and personal.  What works for one person may not work for the next.  The important thing is to keep an open mind, express yourself, and allow others to express themselves as they have allowed you.  I’m glad you’re going to share this with your friends.  The more this concept is shared, the sooner we can all quit judging each other!  Again, thank you so much for reading and commenting.  RhondaLeigh
